Injured in a car accident? We recover your damages from the opposing party, free of charge and free of charge for you, because the costs are 100% paid by the insurer.
You didn't ask for it — and yet you are stuck with the consequences. We provide personal support, take the fight with the insurer off your hands, and ensure you receive what you are entitled to. So that you can focus on your recovery.
One moment you are calmly driving your route, the next you hear that crash and everything comes to a standstill. The shock, the pain in your neck or back, the worries about your car and your income: it all hits you at once. It is perfectly understandable that you feel overwhelmed. But know this: you are stronger than you think.
In many collisions, especially rear-end collisions, legal liability is quickly established. And the best part is: our help costs you nothing. In the event of a valid claim, the opposing party's insurer also pays our fees.
With us, you won't get a rotating call center on the line, but one dedicated personal injury expert who knows your case and knows you by name. Someone who takes the time to listen to your story and explains in plain language what you are entitled to.
You have enough on your plate with your recovery. We take the fight with the insurer completely off your hands. We hold the opposing party liable, gather the evidence, and ensure you receive the compensation you deserve. You stay in control, we do the work.
A car collision can happen in many ways: a rear-end collision at a traffic light, a collision at an intersection, a side impact while merging, or an accident on the highway. In all these cases, you can sustain injuries as a driver or passenger. Sometimes these injuries are immediately visible, but often symptoms such as neck pain (whiplash), headaches, back pain, or concentration problems only manifest a day later.
Never underestimate your injuries, even if the damage to the car is minor. Neck injuries frequently occur, particularly in seemingly minor collisions. Therefore, always get a medical check-up and document your symptoms with your GP. This is not only beneficial for your recovery but also serves as important evidence for your records. Do you want to know if your situation qualifies for compensation? Have your traffic accident assessed without obligation.

The question of fault in a collision between cars is assessed under the unlawful act provisions of Article 6:162 of the Dutch Civil Code. The person who commits a traffic error and thereby causes damage is liable. Unlike a collision involving a cyclist or pedestrian, no additional protection applies between two motorized vehicles: here, everything revolves around the question of who made the mistake.
The most common type of collision is the rear-end collision. In such cases, a strong rule of thumb applies: the driver of the rear vehicle is, in principle, liable. You are always required to maintain sufficient distance to stop in time, even if the car in front brakes suddenly. If you were driving in front and were hit from behind, you are therefore in a very strong legal position.
The driver behind can rarely get away with this. Arguments such as 'he braked too abruptly' or 'I was blinded by the sun' are almost never accepted, because you have to adjust your driving behavior accordingly. Only in exceptional situations, for example if the car in front suddenly reversed without reason, might the situation be different.
Were you a passenger in the car and did you get injured? Then you are in a very strong legal position. After all, an occupant is never at fault for the accident. You can claim damages from the liable driver, and that can even be the driver of the car you were in. Moreover, many cars have passenger accident insurance (SVI) for this purpose, which covers the damage to passengers and the driver regardless of who was at fault.
Not every collision is black and white. Sometimes both drivers played a part, for example in an accident at an intersection where the right of way was unclear. In such cases, the extent to which each party's fault contributed to the accident and the resulting damage is assessed—known as the apportionment of causality. You will then receive compensation for a portion of your damages corresponding to the opposing party's share.
Subsequently, the equity adjustment can further revise that percentage in your favor, for example if the opposing party acted much more seriously or if your injury is very severe. Therefore, never let yourself be accused of fault too quickly; the opposing party's share is often higher than the insurer initially claims. An independent assessment of the circumstances often makes a significant difference in this regard.

After a car accident, you are entitled to compensation for all your damages. This is often much broader than people think. We distinguish two types of damage.
Material damage includes everything that can be expressed in monetary terms:
In addition, there is non-material damage: compensation for pain and suffering. This is compensation for the pain, grief, and loss of enjoyment of life caused by your injury. Would you like a first impression of the scope? Then use our personal injury calculation tool. You can find a complete overview on the compensation, and you can read more about compensation for your suffering under pain and suffering.

The steps you take immediately after the collision can be of great importance to your case file later on. Keep a cool head and consider the following points.
The most important thing you need to know: professional assistance following a car accident costs you nothing. This is regulated in Article 6:96 of the Dutch Civil Code. The reasonable costs of legal assistance are covered by your damages and, in the event of a valid claim for liability, are paid by the opposing party's insurer. Therefore, you never have to reach into your own wallet.
Why is seeking help still a wise decision? Because the insurer on the other side of the table has only one goal: to pay out as little as possible. In the case of whiplash or other 'invisible' injuries, insurers often try to downplay your damages. An experienced personal injury expert knows the amounts, the legal frameworks, and the tactics, and ensures that you are not shortchanged.
In many cases, a personal injury expert can provide you with full assistance and handle the entire settlement with the insurer. Should it come to court proceedings, we will engage a specialized personal injury lawyer. You will hardly notice any of this: we keep you informed, and you can focus on your recovery.
Also pay attention to the statute of limitations. A claim against the liable insurer under the Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Act (WAM) expires after three years, while the claim against the perpetrator themselves expires after five years. So do not wait too long. We are ready to assist you with a no-obligation consultation, listen to your story, and tell you honestly what you are entitled to.
Personal injury is more than just your medical bill. We map out all your damages — including the damages you might overlook yourself.
Deductible, physiotherapy, medication, aids, and all other costs of your recovery.
Lost salary, a lower benefit, or missed assignments because you are (partially) unable to work.
Compensation for the pain, grief, and loss of enjoyment of life caused by your injury.
The costs of help at home and for the care you need due to your injury.
Travel expenses to the doctor and hospital, and modifications to your home or car.
Damage that you continue to suffer even after the settlement, such as permanent loss of income or ongoing care.
Pain and suffering is your compensation for pain, grief, and loss of enjoyment of life. On top of that comes your material damage: medical expenses, loss of income, household help, and future damage.
